Order Information - General You can order in four convenient ways. On-line ordering You can use our on-line ordering system by entering the quantity of a product and pressing the Order button. The system will deposit your item in the Shopping Cart. You can return for more ordering to the menu screen or check-out when you are satisfied with your selection. We use SSL based security encryption to transfer your information. You will be asked for your shipping address information and your payment preference. The shopping cart will calculate the shipping charges based on the zip-code. Therefore, the shipping charges are displayed after you enter your shipping and payment information. You can still cancel the transaction at that time and none of your entered information is being recorded. We accept Visa and Master credit cards, money order, or Paypal (Please do not send money via Paypal unless requested from us. We don't want your money if we are out of stock). We are requesting CVV2 or CVC2 information when you order with Visa or Master Card. CVV2 and CVC2 are the last three digits of a number printed in the signature field of your credit card. Please check here for more information on CVV2 and CVC2 security processing. You will receive an immediate response from our ordering system when your order is received. (see Availability). Fax orders You can also print out, fill out, and fax back the fax order form below to 630-365-2418 ( 01-630-365-2418 for international customers). It is save to add your credit card and CVV2 or CvC2 information on the fax order form. Illinois residents are required to pay 6.5% sales tax on all products. Order Acceptance All orders are accepted from the date that the order was received and you were notified via phone or follow-up e-mail that the item is in stock or on back-order . The initial response from the automated ordering system only indicates that your order was received. It does not verify availability of an item. (see Availability) Proof of Identity We reserve the right to ask for proof of identity for new customers. Especially for large first-time orders and orders into foreign countries we ask that the following types of identification be faxed to us: USA orders: Photo-copy of drivers license with picture ID and photo-copy of credit card to be used (front & back). Foreign orders: Photo-copy of passport with picture ID and photo-copy of credit card to be used (front & back). Shipping and Handling Shipping & handling cost is determined by the weight and the amount of packages of your order. Shipping is less expensive if multiple items are ordered and shipped together (on a cost per item basis). Oversized boxes will incur additional charges since our shopping cart currently can not account for them. The shopping cart is also limited in determining if multiple, different sized items will fit in a box and can be shipped together. We reserve the right to override the shipping & handling fee presented by the shopping cart, if the situation is warranted. However, we will make an attempt to contact you and seek agreement for higher shipping & handling charges. Items are generally shipped UPS Ground unless they are very small or go to Post Office boxes. For those we will ship via United States Postal Service. Higher charges might apply for them. We do include shipping insurance in our fee, since we can not be responsible for products getting damaged during shipment. The Shopping Cart Shipping Calculator only works for the Contiguous United States of America Shipment to locations in Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, Mexico, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia and the Polar regions will need to be re-calculated manually. We ship all International Orders via United States Postal Service - Global Express Mail (EMS). It allows us to insure and to track your item. Since these rates are a little bit higher it is of advantage to shop and ship multiple items. This will lower the cost of shipping per item. You will be sent an e-mail with a shipping quote and your items will be shipped after a mutual agreement on the charges has been reached. Availability - General We keep most items in stock and these items will be shipped the next day. We do experience at times that items are selling faster than we can stock or faster than we can obtain them from our distributors or manufacturers. In these instances we will notify you of this occurrence via e-mail. Unless an order is cancelled we will process all orders. We will charge your credit card only at the time of shipment to you. In the interest to display all items and full product lines to our customers we have placed 'Order' buttons on all product items. This will allow our customers to pre-order items which have not been released yet or allow to order for re-stock items from the manufacturer. Please view the respective availability listing for each product line. Should an article not be available for immediate shipment we will keep the order on file until the back-ordered items arrives and then will process the order. We also will make an attempt to contact you to make you aware of this situation. However, in certain busy times we will not be able to contact you in the interest of getting orders out as quick as possible. Discontinued items, items not yet available to us (pre-orders), special version orders, and custom orders are excluded from the discount offers. Please check the product pages for respective information for each product.
Availability - Product Specific - Franklin Mint The Franklin Mint took over the Armour Collection from C.D.C., Italy, in the beginning of 2002. Although the availability of all models and liveries is constantly improving, it can still happen that a certain model will not be available for several weeks, sometimes months. This situation is currently unavoidable but will improve, we were told. Please use the 'Pre 1945 Airplanes' and 'Post 1945 Airplanes' buttons on the 'Collection Armour' page to view the current availability listing of Collection Armour items at Franklin Mint.
There are also several country specific liveries that are designated as 'Special Version - Produced by Demand". These can be ordered and will be shipped when available. No guarantee can be made that all of these items will ever be available. Again, you will only be charged when an items ships to you.
Custom Orders - General Custom orders are excluded from exchange, return, or refund unless the product is defective or damaged. Insurance for the value of these products is mandatory and is added to the invoice.
Partial Shipments We wait until an order is complete before we will ship, unless you indicate to us that you would like a partial shipment in the Comment section of your order. For partial shipments it is our policy to charge for the shipped items and the full shipping & handling amount of the order. Subsequent shipments of the same order are then charged the item price only, with no additional shipping & handling cost to you.
Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges Returns will be honored for 14 days after shipment to the customer for internet orders and 10 days after in-store purchases. A return authorization must be obtained from us via phone or e-mail before an item is returned to us. The items will need to be properly secured and shipped in the original shipping container. The returned item must be clearly marked with the return authorization code on outside of the shipping container. Items shipped without return authorization code will be refused. A re-stocking fee of 15% of the purchase price of the items will be charged for returns unless the product was defective or damaged during transport to you. Returns are processed after the item has been received and verified that is is in good condition. We will not issue monetary refunds. You can select a store credit for future purchases or, in case of a defective item, select to exchange the item for the same model.
Cancellations We are committed to fill all of our orders. Some models are produced at frequent intervals. This can result in waiting for new shipments for us. We keep all orders open until we receive the merchandise and can ship. If an item is discontinued we will contact you. If you want to cancel your order please contact us via e-mail at sales@wingsoverelburn.com. It is in your and our interest to have written documention of the cancellation.
